Fuzzy Tails
There are tails in the garden
That sway in the air
Like the tips of fine cats
Who expect you to stare.
Gently, I pet them.
Their fur starts to shed.
These cats spread themselves
All over the bed!

Super! Great double meaning throughout.
Very nice! I smiled at “Gently, I pet them.”
wonderful! Those ‘cats’ will shed everywhere! 🙂
Your double entendre is fantastic, Liz!
I love to “pet” cattails! They are my favorite kind of kitty…sorry cat lovers! =)
I have brought a bouquet of “tails” into the house, not a good idea. You’ve shown that beautifully Liz. Love those tales that “sway”. (And they do, beautifully!)
So lovely! I love the photograph too! 🙂
HA! Love the ending!
This made me giggle. Loved the double meaning too. Very clever and great pic.
Super cute poem, Liz!!! Goes perfectly with the pic. Very nice word play, too. 🙂
