I lovelovelove this! I’ve been able to swim laps this week at my hometown outdoor pool where I lifeguarded and taught lessons. You captured it PERFECTLY!!
Hi, Liz. This is such an attractive concept — how the water takes us in and then returns to itself when we leave. Beautiful final lines. You make me want to sit still in a pool on this hot day!
Really beautiful. I don’t have a handy pool now, but this brings back the days in an aunt’s pool, those lazy & heavenly days. I love ‘celebrate my crashing/Shatter into splashing”. Thank you!
Hi Liz. I really liked the lines “Paint me blue and lose me” and “Sit still.” Nicely turned phrases. -Ed

Love this! It’s perfect for all that I am feeling this weekend, and fun to boot! Thanks!
Lucky to have a pool in the back yard – I think I’ll go pay it a visit, thanks to your inspiring poem! Very nicely done. Happy Summering!
