Collecting Rocks
Collecting Rocks
One rock—plop.
Two rocks—plop.
I pick them up.
I let them drop.
More and more.
I can’t stop!
I fill my bucket
to the top.

I love rock collecting! I can’t stop either 🙂
Hi Cynthia, I have to admit I was picturing a toddler but now I’ll switch and picture you!
I grew up in a family of rock hounds. I cannot resist picking up a pretty or an unusual rock. I love that my granddaughter is exactly the same way. There’s something about the feel of a rock in my pocket that I love. Thanks for sharing this cute poem.
“I fill my bucket
to the top”
And then my
lets out a POP!
Great rhyme, Liz! = )
