Cherry Blossoms
I lose my pen
among the petals…
cherry blossoms
How foolish it is to try to write a haiku about cherry blossoms, but how can one resist?

And yet you found a way. This is lovely!
Michelle is right, lovely. I read it before I went out on errands. Such a feast for the eyes. Almost made me think that taking photos and writing while they are out and grand is almost wrong. You should be in the moment, enveloped by them. Breathing deeply with every cell you own. I wish I could figure out a way to see them next year. Hmmm. Let me see if I know someone I could take a walk with! I could come to Baltimore and then down to DC……then we could write some poems later. Let’s ponder that one!
Gorgeous! No words needed. The photo is poetry in and of itself. It’s as if little star fairies are helping to keep the petals from falling.
Lovely!
A great place to lose your pen. Fabulous poem, Liz! = )
